Emile Gautreau passed away on Monday, March 29, 2004 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital at the age of 85

Born in Gautreau Village, he was the son of the late Siméon Gautreau and the late Rose Noël. He was employed at Canadian Pitchburg Industries until his retirement. He was a member of the Golden Age Club of Pré-d'enHaut.

He is survived by one daughter Rosa (Ronald) Bourgeois of Belliveau Village; four sons, George (Hélène) Gautreau of Belliveau Village, Romuald (Rita) Gautreau of Pré-d'en-Haut, Richard (Alice) Gautreau of Dieppe, Roland (Joanne) Gautreau of Pré-d'en-Haut; two sisters, Délia (late Edgar) Boudreau of Waltham, Dora (late Yvon) Gautreau of Pré-d'en-Haut; seven grandchildren: Daniel, Gilles, Carole, Marc, Joline, Luc, Michel; one great grandchild, Jérémie and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Exélia (February 23, 2004); one sister, Ida and by two brothers, Blair, Hervé.


Resting at Dupuis Funeral Home with Funeral Mass to be held at Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d'en-Haut on Wednesday, March 31 at 7:00 pm. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
